National accounts: main indicators on households

This dataset provides the main indicators of the financial accounts of households, compiled in accordance with the European System of Accounts (ESA 2010). It presents information on the outstanding stocks of financial assets and liabilities of households, broken down by financial instrument and counterpart sector.

It includes, among others, data on currency and deposits, loans, debt securities, shares and investment fund shares, insurance and pension schemes, as well as other financial assets and liabilities. These indicators allow the analysis of household saving, indebtedness and financial wealth, as well as their evolution over time.

This dataset is essential for analysing household economic behaviour, studies on consumption, saving and financing, and for assessing the financial situation of the household sector within the economy as a whole.
