The German Federal Employment Agency (BA) opened the Research Data Center at its Institute for Employment Research (IAB) with the aim of giving external researchers access to German social security and employment microdata for non-commercial empirical research. The Banco de España, through BELab, was selected by the BA as the point of access in Spain to their microdata network. Qualified researchers may thus access the data in a controlled environment.
Access to this dataset must have been previously approved by the IAB through the completion of an access request form and the subsequent signing of the data usage terms and conditions. Once access has been authorized by the IAB, the researcher will be able to access the data directly from the BELab secure room. All information related to access can be consulted through the distribution associated with this dataset.
