Payment transactions data (PAY)

BELab offers controlled access to detailed information on the number and value of payment transactions, both domestic and cross-border. The data is presented disaggregated by means of payment (bank transfers, direct debits, card payments, e-money payments and checks) and by counterparty country. Card payment transactions are also classified by merchant type.

The information held by BELab is confidential in nature. The access request form specifies the confidentiality rules that researchers must comply with in order to access the data. Full information regarding access can be found through the distribution associated with this dataset.
