Central Balance Sheet BExplora Regional provides aggregated economic and financial information on non-financial corporations resident in Spain, with a territorial breakdown at the level of autonomous communities and provinces. Its purpose is to facilitate the analysis of regional developments and differences in the business sector, offering a comparative and territorially detailed view of the activity and financial situation of non-financial firms.

The information is compiled from the Central Balance Sheet Office of the Banco de España, applying homogeneous methodological criteria consistent with standard practices in structural business statistics. The institutional coverage includes the non-financial corporations sector, and the geographical scope enables analysis of the territorial distribution of key economic and financial indicators across the Spanish economy as a whole. Data are disseminated exclusively in aggregated form, ensuring the anonymisation of firm-level information and the confidentiality of the observed units.

The dataset includes indicators representative of economic activity, employment, profitability, indebtedness, the cost of financing, and average collection and payment periods, with additional breakdowns by sector of activity and firm size.
